Description

This 300ml Fire Rated Silicone Sealant is a premium grade, B1 fire-rated, neutral curing compound essential for firestopping applications in both residential and commercial buildings. It is specifically formulated to create a durable, flexible seal in linear joints, effectively preventing the spread of fire, smoke, and toxic gases.

Tested in accordance with BS EN 1366-4:2008, this high-performance sealant offers a verified fire resistance of up to 4 hours in linear joints. Its robust formula ensures long-lasting integrity with excellent elasticity of 25%, allowing it to safely accommodate movement in joints up to 30mm wide without cracking or compromising the fire barrier. The white silicone is anti-slump, making vertical application easy and tidy, and it has a quick setting time of 7-8 minutes. Crucially, it is water and UV resistant, making it suitable for both interior and exterior use. It can withstand temperatures up to 120 degrees C, providing an essential safety and compliance element for sealing gaps in fire-rated walls, floors, and partitions. Full cure time is approximately 2mm per 24 hours.
