Description

These premium 4.0 x 30mm Chipboard Screws are engineered for exceptional performance in both indoor and general outdoor applications. Featuring a Black Organic coating, these carbon steel screws offer excellent corrosion resistance (Corrosion Rating 3) and are ideal for use in urban and industrial areas with low salt atmospheres, making them perfect for exterior joinery, black ironmongery, and visible installations. The Pozi Drive (PZ2) recess provides a secure fitting, preventing cam-out during high-torque driving. The Double Countersunk head design reduces the likelihood of head shear and helps the screw sit perfectly flush with the material surface for a neat, professional finish. The sharp 25° point and single-lead thread allow for a fast start and improved thread acceptance, while the 40° deep single thread provides a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance, ensuring a strong and durable hold in chipboard, MDF, and various softwoods.
