Description

This Intumescent Letterbox provides essential passive fire protection, noise reduction, and enhanced security for internal or external doors. The external size is 305mm x 70mm, featuring a polished silver finish with a black frame. It has been fire tested to both BS EN 1634-1 and BS 476 part 22, guaranteeing a 30-minute fire rating. The design includes an adjustable telescopic sleeve that accommodates door thicknesses from 40mm to 80mm. For energy efficiency and comfort, it features fitted brush pile draught excluders and integral sound dampening bumpers. It achieves an impressive Acoustic Rating of 32dB Rw and is smoke tested to BS 476 part 31/1: 1983 with a fully sealed backplate to prevent smoke passage. The unit is also security tested to BS EN 13724 standards. Fixings are included for immediate installation.
