Description

This 310ml White Intumescent Acrylic Sealant is a halogen free, polymer emulsion based sealant designed for fire and acoustic sealing applications. When exposed to temperatures exceeding $125^{\circ}C$, the sealant swells to form a char coat that effectively restricts the passage of smoke and fire, providing fire resistance up to 120 minutes (BS EN 1634-1 & BS 476 Part: 20/22). It is easily applied and dries to a flexible and smooth surface that is crack resistant and readily over paintable with most paints. The sealant has excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates and is suitable for fire rated cladding, doors, and walls. It offers $12.5\%$ flexibility and is Certifire Approved (CF5840).
