Description

These screws are built specifically for fastening timber to light section steel (up to 3 mm thick) in outdoor construction. The countersunk wing-tip design cleans out timber for initial drive, then the wings break off so the self-drilling thread can cut into steel without slowing down. The coarse, self-tapping thread ensures solid bite in wood, while the silver organic plating gives excellent protection against corrosion, verified by 500 hours of salt-spray. Ideal for external framing, timber cladding, shed roof fixings, fascia boards, or timber-steel hybrid structures demanding durability and performance.
