Description

This box contains 250 professional 200mm Movement Ties, specifically designed to be used at vertical movement or expansion joints in long runs of masonry walls. They are manufactured from durable 2mm thick Stainless Steel, measuring 19mm in width, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and longevity in external environments. When used with a debonding sleeve (sold separately), these ties provide essential lateral restraint against wind loads while allowing the masonry to expand and contract horizontally due to thermal and moisture changes. This prevents undue stress and cracking in brickwork and blockwork structures. These ties comply with the structural standard BS EN 845-1:2013+A1:2016, making them suitable for commercial and residential construction projects requiring controlled movement.
